WET-LOOK HAIR RUNWAY APPROVED

WET-LOOK HAIR RUNWAY APPROVED

Hi Darlings!

Between red-hot days in the city and flash escapes to the sea, this summer seems the hottest ever seen. While the weather is high in temperature, we were searching for a way to refresh our days (and nights). Surprisingly a runway trand has the solution: the wet look hair. What a better way to keep it fresh than not drying your hair? This year the wet look trend seems to be alive, filling our Instagram feeds with a large amount of celeb’s shots and posts that can inspire even the laziest one’s.

Keep reading to discover how to create this trend and some ideas of styling for a special everyday-runway look.

So, how to do this wet look hair?

There are a lot of combinations to handle this elegant style. The easiest one is to do a mix of little hair gel and shine cream between your hands. Then you can smooth through the hair from front to back, comb through to get it all in place and finish by smoothing out the comb lines with your fingers. You can also use a combination of products depending on your hair type. Your regular conditioner could be used as a less heavy-duty alternative for greasy hair types.

It’s important for the final result to have a good awareness of how much water your hair absorbs and how much hydration they need, so that you’ll use the right amount of product.

Once the effect is achieved you have to move on to the fold. There are three styles that are popular among celebrities.

The Slick Back Look

The slick back gives a super cool rock chic vibe: it’s edgier and more empowering. A lot of celebs tried this style such as Zendaya and Gigi Hadid. The Queen of this styles is Megan Fox, who has been wearing it since 2010.

The Side Part Look

This type of look has a large amount of alternatives and we selected the most creative ones. You can simply let the hair fall on the side, leaving the ends free. Alternatively you can add some clips and ties to a more sophisticated finish, like the gorgeous Cara Delevigne. You can maintain a stiffer, tidier style by abounding with the wet effect from the base to the tips. Alternatively you can choose a wilder style leaving the ends free and drier then the top.

Centred Parted wet-hair Look

As a third look, you can’t leave out a great classic, the centred parted look. Sophisticated and elegant, it gives a glamorous touch even to the more simple outfits. You can wear it alone or with some clips to the back side, like Kendall Jenner does.
