Return Policy

In accordance with applicable law, the CLIENT has the right to withdraw from the purchase without penalty within 30 days from the date of receipt of the products.

How to Request a Return

To exercise the right of withdrawal, the CLIENT must send an explicit request to DARLING via email at: customer@darlingsun.com, including the name associated with the order, the order number, and the reason for the return.

Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout .

If the original payment was made by bank transfer, please include your IBAN, SWIFT, and BIC in the email to enable the refund.

Please allow 5–7 business days for your return to be processed after it arrives at our facility. You will receive an email confirmation once your refund has been issued.

Return Conditions

  • Returned items must be unused, undamaged, and in their original packaging, including all components. Returns that do not meet these conditions will not be accepted.
  • Once received, all items will undergo a quality inspection. If approved, the refund will be processed  directly to the original method of payment of the customer.

Returns Involving Promotional Gifts

If your order included a promotional gift (product or merchandise), the gift must also be returned under the following conditions:

  • If the gift was offered in direct association with a specific product or with all the orders during a period, it must be returned along with that product.
  • In the case of promotions offering a complimentary gift upon reaching a minimum order value, the gift must be returned if, after one or more items are returned, the total value of the items kept is lower than the minimum order value indicated in the promotion.

Failure to return the promotional gift when required may result in a deduction equal to its retail value from the refund amount.


Return Shipping Costs

Return shipping costs are always the responsibility of the CLIENT. These costs will be deducted directly from the refund amount, which will cover only the value of the returned products.

Please note:

  • Initial shipping fees paid at the time of the original order will not be refunded, except in cases of faulty or incorrect items.
  • The final refund will reflect the net value of the returned items, minus the cost of return shipping.
  • For orders that originally benefited from free shipping, a standard return fee will be applied based on the destination country. These fees will be communicated clearly and deducted from the refund.  Standard return fees are:
    • Italy: 4,90€
    • Austria, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, Luxembourg: 6,90€;
    • Denmark, France: 8,90€;
    • Croatia, Czech Republic, Spain, Poland, Ungary, Slovenia, Serbia: 11,90€;
    • Others: 19,90€;


Refund Details

  • Refunds will be issued to the original payment method used at checkout. If the original payment was made by bank transfer, please include your IBAN, SWIFT, and BIC in the email to enable the refund.
  • The refund will cover only the cost of the returned products, excluding:
    • Original shipping fees;
    • Any applicable taxes or duties;


  • We do not refund initial shipping charges unless the item is faulty or incorrect.
