BEAUTY TRENDS YOU CAN’T MISS FROM NYFW

Hi Darlings!

September has arrived with all its consequences: responsibilities, work issues and stressful days. A silver lining? It’s the month of the Fashion Weeksdarlings! In the past few days it has been the turn of New York Fashion Week.

This week we set up a focus on the beauty trends that popped-up during the fashion shows in the Big Apple. We spotted some of the most popular make up and skin trends used in the runways by the brands that litterally crafted what we will include in our beauty routines this fall.“Go big or go home”, seems to be the beauty mantra this season, and the fashion week is confirming that.

So let’s start with the list of the most seen beauty trends in the sparkling New York city.

Naturalmake-up base

Skin tints and sheer, lightweight formulas are the main characters this fall. You can go a little bolder with eye-liner, shadows and co., but with make up base stay soft for a natural skin finish. You can mix satin and glow effects, in order to bring out a demi-matte finish.

Spotted at: Carolina Herrera, Tory Burch.

Graphiceye-liner

This trand is more artistic and graphic than the siren eyes of last summer.Don’t be afraid to stretch the wings out toward your temples and use colorful pencil or gel liners to accent the shape for a more playful style.

Spotted at: Christian Cowan, LaQuan Smith.

Heavy on eyeshadows

We said playful style for eye-liners? Well darlings, the same goes for eye shadow. We saw a rainbow of different color walking through New York runways. We go from a blu-electric palette to a more classic smoky finish. The bold, smoky look with carbon shades is everywhere but you can also use a monochromatic palette with soft terracotta tones. What to choose? It is totally up to you darlings!

Spotted at: Altuzarra, Jason Wu, Collina Strada.

All-aroundblush

Bright colorful blush in 80s style was the focal point at Christian Cowan. The look took a hot pink sweep from the apples of the cheek up and around the brow arches. The secret weapon darlings? A creamy, vibrant lipstick was used in place of a classic blush.

Spotted at: Weider Silveiro, Lilly Sarti and Christian Cowan.

Bleached Brows

Bella Hadid

From the bold and dark brows ofthe last two years in New York we’ve welcomed back into our beauty routine an old friend: bleached brows. This look certainly is for brave hearts, but you can also fake the trend without actually bleaching your brows, like the expert Joey Healy says in an interview for Elle Magazine. “When choosing a brow tint, go with a lighter color than your natural brow. This will make brows less impactful and sit back to a little more instead of taking center stag” he stated.

Spotted at: Christian Siriano, Collina Strada.
